Nano-Biotechnology workshop professor Veena Koul, the manager of Biomedical Engineering Institute of Indian Institute of Technology of New Delhi, was held at Andisheh Hall of Alzahra University on Monday, March 13th, 2018.
Prof. Koul invited and accompanied by Dr. Mohammadreza Khalili (the scientific attaché of our country in India), Dr. Parichehr Hanachi (Director of International Academic Collaborations at Alzahra university) attended the workshop.
A group of graduate-students in Biotechnology major at the Faculty of Biology at Alzahra University and two professors of Faculty, Dr. Sara Gharavi and Dr. Fakhri Sadat Hosseini participated actively in this meeting.
The topic of professor Koul's speech was “The Utilization of Nano-Medicine in The Cancer Treatment and Comparison Between Common Cancer Treatment Methods, Surgery, Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy with Treatment Methods by The Usage of Nano-Medicines”.
Professor Koul explained about advantages and disadvantages of each treatment method , and also about patient treatment statistics in each of therapy methods and combinatorial therapies; and replied to the audience's questions in this field.
