Alzahra university's management trip to India (2018/7/29 to 2018/8/1)

Dr. Mahanaz mollanazari, head of the Alzahra University, accompanied by Dr Prichehr Hanachi, head of International Collaboration at the University, visited India to visit Delhi Institute of Technology. This trip was conducted in co-ordination with Dr. Mohammad Reza Khalili, the country's scientific advisor in India, and was implemented on the basis of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Alzahra University and the New Delhi Institute of Technology on the occasion of the invitation of Professor Vinokol, head of the Institute from August 29 to September 1. Professor Vinokol also traveled to Tehran on March 2018, at the invitation of the Alzahra University to carry out cooperation.

During the visit, the Alzahra University delegation met with the chairman and managers of the New Delhi Institute of Technology. The meeting was attended by Professor Rao, international deputy of the New Delhi Institute of Technology, professor Sangi, educational deputy and head of the School of Engineering, Medicine, Textiles, Social Sciences, Computer and Electronics at the Indian Institute of Technology. At the meeting, Dr. Mollanazari, head of the Alzahra University, referred to the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two collections over the past year and a half, the interest and readiness of the Alzahra University for further communication and cooperation with the Delhi Institute of Technology in Textile, Textile design, biochemistry, biotechnology, management and social sciences. This issue was discussed during expert meetings with Alzahra University in India during the summer of 2017 at the New Delhi Institute of Technology. The holding of a joint doctoral thesis, the holding of scientific workshops and joint research projects were among the issues discussed. Alzahra University also visited the Faculty of Medical Engineering and Textile Engineering of the New Delhi Institute of Technology.

From other programs of the Alzahra University delegation to visit India, visiting laboratories and research facilities at the Biotechnology and Biotechnology Schools of the National University of Islamiya in India, and discussions with the authorities and professors of that university. Also, meeting with Professor Shahed Ashraf, head of the Hamdard University, and a meeting with the officials of this university, was conducted with the assistance of our country's scientific advisor in India. Hamdard University has conducted major studies on chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceuticals and herbs. The activities of this university in public and health are also significant.

Alzahra University delegation met with clergyman Mahdavipour, the representative of the Indian Supreme Leader. Dr. Mollanazari presented a report on Alzahra University's activities as the only comprehensive women's university in Iran and detailed the progress of the university in the arts, chemistry, biotechnology, and economics and life sciences. clergyman Mahdavipour also thanked the presence of the University of Alzahra in India, explaining the situation of Muslims and Shiies in India, especially Muslim women, and made recommendations on attracting enthusiasts to study at Iranian universities.
