On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, a group of ninety international students and Farsi learners from Alzahra University visited the Sa'dabad Palace Museum Complex at the invitation of the International Deputy of Tehran Province Municipality. This visit provided an invaluable opportunity for the students to explore the cultural and historical richness of Iran.
The Sa'dabad Historical Complex, located in northern Tehran, is one of the largest and most beautiful cultural and historical complexes in the country, spanning an area of 300 hectares. It features eighteen palaces and museums built during the Qajar and Pahlavi eras. During their visit, students toured several significant sites, including the "Green Palace," which reflects the era of Reza Shah; the "Palace of the Nation," also known as the "White Palace," which is the largest palace in the complex; the "Museum of Military Equipment," showcasing weapons and military artifacts that highlight Iran's military history; and the "Museum of Fine Arts," which displays works by contemporary Iranian artists as well as European paintings.
Introducing international students to Iranian culture and history through visits to such significant sites is an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange and deepening understanding of Iran’s heritage. These excursions not only educate students about Iran’s rich history but also help strengthen international relations and foster cultural communication. Ultimately, the international students and Farsi learners from Alzahra University expressed their appreciation for the enjoyable memories created during this visit.
