Faculty members from Management and Educational Planning, Dr. Maryam Banahan Ghomi and Dr. Hoda Sadat Hosseini, including Post-Doc Researcher, Dr. Khodabandehlou, supported by the International Academic Collaboration Affairs of Alzahra University (IAC) on 7th to 14th of Dec, 2017 travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in order to attend the International Conference on "Global Advancement in Education, Humanities and Citizenship" also visit some other Malaysian universities.
During this visit, he had a discussion with the General head of Educational Planning at the Punjab University in Pakistan, on the sidelines of the conference while introducing Alzahra University and presenting a brochure in order to emphasize on the university's abilities about the qualities and education and interest in expanding scientific activities, especially in the field of studies. Also, in order to negotiate a cooperation agreement, International Academic Collaboration Affairs should send a letter to Dr. Akel Ahmad, General head of Educational Planning at the University, in order to resolve the issue of a Memorandum of Understanding with Punjab University, Pakistan.
Also, on Monday, December, 11th the delegation from Alzahra University, along with the representative from the University of Birjand at the Asian e-University, met with the head of the UTM Faculty of Education at the University of Utah on the creation of scientific and research fields. On Tuesday, December 12th, the delegation visited and had discussion with the National Child Development Research Center of Malaysia (NCDRC) at UPSI University and met with Prof. Sofia. They visited kindergarten and pre-school center at UPSI University. Along with the founder and manager of the center, Mr. David Liem, they visited the largest Educational Center for children of Wardorf in Malaysia.
Alzahra University's group also visited UiTM University which is the largest university in Malaysia with a total of 150,000 students. In this visit, members of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Alzahra University met with a number of professors from the Faculty of Education at UiTM University, and each of the professors discussed their areas of expertise and experience. This visit was also attended by the officials at the UiTM International Cooperation Office and discussed the cooperation between the two universities. Then they met with the officials of UPM University School of Business Studies (according to the recent agreement of scientific cooperation with the head of the University of UPM) and the solutions for the operation of this memorandum were discussed.
