The Eurasia International Higher Education Expo was held in Istanbul, Turkey on February 16-14, 2018, hosted by the Association of Asian and European Universities - Eurasia, with attendance of about 3000 participants at 130 exhibitors from Asian, European and American universities. At the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Education and Science of Malaysia and Sudan and the Deputy Minister of Science of Turkey participated.
From Iran in addition to Alzahra University, Tehran University, Sharif University, Amirkabir, Tarbiat Modarres, Tabriz, Bouali Sina, Tehran Medical Sciences, Iran Medical Sciences, Mazandaran, Shahid Chamran, Kharazmi, Bahonar, Birjand, Golpayegan, Religions and Higher Education Institute Shandiz Mashhad participated in this important event of higher education. Also, Dr. Rashed, Ambassador of Iran in Turkey and the Iranian Consul General in Istanbul, and the Malaysian Minister of Science also visited the Alzahra University pavilion.
The delegation of Alzahra University includes Dr. Mehdi Seif-Barghi, the University's Vice-Chancellor of Educational Affairs and Higher Education, Dr. Parichehr Hanachi, Director of International Academic Collaboration at the University with the participation of the University of Alzahra Exhibitor and the University Introductory Film Presentation, and presenting university brochures in various languages. The delegation of Alzahra University also conducted useful talks on how to implement academic cooperation and operation of the exchange of professors and students in meetings with the delegations of the universities that have signed the Alzahra University Memoranda of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement.
Workshops and specialist conferences at the Eurasia Higher Education Expo, including the International Workshop on Internationalization of Universities, using the Erasmus Program, the present and future international higher education and experience data, how to improve the university from the regional to the international level, International education, academic strategic plans, exchanges of professors and students, and education for peace, were UNESCO seats, which the Alzahra faculty members sought to participate in as much as possible.
