Dr. Mallory Schuab, head of the Department of Professional Development of faculty members at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, Prof. Jiangxin Zhang, Head of the High Quality Education Network in Asia and the Pacific (APQN-), and Michaela Martin, head of the International Institute for Educational Planning IIEP- Foreign guests, Quality Assurance Conduct The university systems were attended in the conference.
The head of the Alzahra University's Center for Performance Evaluation and Monitoring has called for Alzahra University's membership in the APQN. He said: Considering the review of the prospects for quality assessment in higher education systems during the conference, Alzahra University has the potential for membership in the APQN. He also referred to the collaboration with the University of Geneva in the exchange of professors and students, as well as collaborations in studies on quality assessment.
The dean of the Alzahra Faculty of Engineering also announced his willingness to establish a college-based association, including the exchange of professors and students, joint guidance for theses and bilateral programs with the Chinhwa Technical University. Chinhwa University is one of the first-class technical universities in China.
Dr. Mehran, with the proposal of the collaboration of Alzahra University with the International Educational Planning Institute, proposed the deployment of young faculty members at Alzahra University in order to take advantage of the educational planning achievements. The director of the Institute mentioned the goal of the International Institute for Educational Planning to expand educational capacity in countries. He offered online training courses and a six-month exchange of professors and educational planning management experts in line with the goals of the Institute.
Referring to the recent visit of the secretary general to the Supreme Council of the Swiss government to Iran, Alzahra University's International Cooperation Director called for the cooperation of the two countries' universities in educational and research fields. He proposed signing a memorandum of understanding with the University of Geneva. The director of professional development at the University of Geneva in Switzerland has been co-authoring two universities, accepting students and holding an online workshop. He further suggested cooperation with the International Cooperation Office of the University of Geneva.
Alzahra University's Director General of Research Affairs, pointing again to the request for Alzahra University membership at APQN, emphasized the willingness of the university to conduct joint research projects.
