Chen Ji Ma, PhD student in the Language and Literature of Allameh Tabatabaei University who was invited to give a lecture on the history and culture of China at Alzahra University, presented on the morning of Monday, May 21st, 2018, at the Faculty of Theology at Alzahra University. The meeting was attended by Dr. Javani, deputy to the director of International Academic Collaboration at the University, Dr. Rabbani, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Theology, Dr. Pat, head of the Department of History, Culture and Islamic Teaching, and a number of interested faculty members and students.
China with an area of about 960 million square kilometers, about one quarter of Asia's continent, has a population of about one billion and 400 million people. It experiences the fastest economic growth and social change in today's world. Cheng Zhi Ma, believes it is due to the culture and history of the Chinese people. The five thousand-year history of this land includes the mythological princes and emperors who have been attributed to the formation of this land. The name of China comes from the same name that has been dominated by two centuries BC in China. Two main rivers flow all over China from the west to the east, the paths of which are similar to two great dragons on the map of this land. In China, 56 different tribes live. Chinese is one of a kind of phonetic language and line of that image, and has over 50,000 shapes for different voices, of which about eight thousand shapes are used for everyday correspondence.
The Chinese culture is called Dao, which is the birthplace of the combination of Buddhist culture and Confucian thoughts. Creating harmony among the people of the world and the importance of human existence on earth and the necessity of peace for all human beings to achieve a better world, as well as pragmatism and optimism, moderation in life, kindness and generosity, and perseverance and saving are of the most important cultural characteristics of the Chinese people.
