As providing an overview of the scientific cooperation agreement with the University of Duzce in Turkey, Four of the Faculty members of the Faculty of Physical Chemistry of Alzahra University, Dr. Shokoufeh Garanmaieh, Dr. Masoume Mohammadnejad, Dr. Kobra Nikoofar and Dr. Omran Moradlou, at the invitation of the head of the Department of Chemistry at Duzce University, in order to organize Specialized lectures, were sent to Turkey from 12 to 14 September 2018. On Wednesday, 12th of September, specialized lectures of Department of Chemistry were organized according to the expedition team of chemistry group of Duzce university, at the conference hall of the Faculty of Chemistry in the presence of Dr. H. Ibrahim Orash, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Pinar Soum, Head of the Central Laboratory, members of the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Environment and Polymer and several graduate students at Duzce University. Dr. Shokoufeh Geranmaieh presented her brochures on the introduction of Alzahra University in her lecture titled "Brave World of Nano Porous Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs)", explaining her scientific and research activities as a comprehensive seminar.
The lecture by Dr. Masoumeh Mohammadnejad, entitled "Application of ion mobility spectroscopy in determination of water pollutant", was dedicated to explaining the ionic mobility of Iran, Knowledge Foundation of Isfahan University of Technology, which described the capabilities of this device and provided information on Has given the audience access to it.
Dr. Omran Moradlou's Specialized Seminar on "Energy Resources in the 21st Century: Solar Energy" Was dedicated. In addition, he presented the clip with the introduction of Alzahra University, the history of the establishment, the number of colleges and research institutes, the number of students and faculty members, and the number of laboratories and laboratories that were highly regarded.
Dr. Kobra Nikoofar, in her speech: "Synthesis of novel Nano structures and their catalytic activity in heterocyclic reactions in green media", In addition to explaining her research activities, she introduced the department of chemistry at Alzahra University, the history of the chemistry department, the number of faculty members, their names, photos and fields of work.
After the specialized meeting, the delegation of the Alzahra University, accompanied by the head of the Department of Chemistry at Duzce University, the head of the laboratory and several of the faculty members of the Department of Chemistry, visited the central lab of the Duzce University and examined the facilities and equipment available there.
Faculty members at Alzahra University on the second day visited a visiting knowledge research center based at Duzce University. The center, known as DUHAM, has been specializing in environmental technology and health, and is under the supervision of the graduate school at Duzce University (YUK) and sponsored by the Turkish government. The center has extensive activities in the fields of medicinal plants, the production of new drugs, cosmetics and the optimization of various types of wastes. Visiting the Pharmacy Research Lab and the Center for Animal Breeding and Livestock Center were among other visits to the expedition team.
Meeting of deputy of head of university and head of international cooperation of Duzce university:
The Delegation of the faculty members of the Alzahra University met at the meeting at the office of the deputy of the University of Duzce with Dr. Elhan Ganj, Senior deputy of the University, and Ms. Bia Shaheen, Senior deputy of International Cooperation Directorate at Duzce University. Dr. Ali Oorturul, a faculty member of the Department of History of the University of Duzce, and a Turkish-Persian translator, Dr. Kuray Kataya from the Department of Chemistry at Duzce University and Ali Oham Kung, a professor at the International Bureau of the University of Duzce, also attended the meeting. At the meeting, welcomed by Dr. Ganj, the two sides exchanged views on the quality and details of postgraduate courses in two countries, and in particular, two Alzahra and Duzce universities. How to exchange student scholarship at undergraduate level and the possibility of scientific exchanges in the form of Rumi's plan was one of the other issues discussed at the meeting. Doctor treasured the information exchanged during the meeting and expressed his interest in visiting the expedition team and other members of the Alzahra University.
