Following up on the implementation of the agreement between the Alzahra University and the University of Duzce of Turkey, Dr. Tayyebeh Hosseinnejad, a faculty member of the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, Alzahra University, for the presentation of his specialized lectures and the presentation of her scientific and research achievements in the field of computational quantum chemistry, became dispatched to Duzce university. at the invitation of Dr. Abdolghadir Ali, Associate Professor of Chemistry and the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Duzce, Dr. Tayyebeh Hosseinnejad, presented her lecture titled "Quantum Chemistry Insights into Metal-Ligand Interactions" on Tuesday, September 6th, 018 at the Conference Hall Faculty of Science and Art of that university.

In this speech, Prof. Muge Cannoi, head of the Center for International Cooperation at the University of Duzce, Dr. Abdulghadir Ali from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the member of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Arsin Orhan and Dr. Ozel Omlou from the Department of Chemistry, Professor Moharram Gucchan of the Department of Physics, Dr. Dilak Nartap head of the Department of Polymer Engineering, Dr. Sama Ali and Dr. Alp Arsalan Atahan of the Polymer Engineering Department, and Hayat Chuljo, a specialist at the International Center for Collaboration at Duzce University, along with a number of graduate students at the Department of Chemistry were present. In the beginning of the lecture, in addition to the distribution of brochures on the introduction of the Alzahra University in Turkish and the presentation of the Alzahra University's introduction film, Dr. Abdulghadir Ali introduced Dr. Tayyebeh Hosseinnejad and her scientific and research background. After the lecture, professors and students discussed the possibilities of computational chemistry for joining the experimental fields of chemistry, introducing a variety of computational and graphical software, and defining computational and experimental joint research goals with Dr. Hossein Nejad.

Dr. Hossein Nejad met with Prof. Matin Akos, head of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Professor Mooge Cannoni, head of the Center for International Cooperation at Duzce University, on his joint research program with Dr. Abdulghadir Ali, in the framework of the implementation of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities. Also, the participation of Alzahra University and Duzce University in the Erasmus International Program was also discussed.

Faculty member of the Alzahra University chemistry department met on the final day of her trip with Professor Nigar Damirkan, head of the University of Duzce. The chairman of Duzce University welcomed the fact that activation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with Alzahra University is one of the major goals of the University of Duzce in the international area, and Alzahra University faculty resettlement costs will be fully supported by the University of Duzce. In this meeting, Dr. Hussein Nejad spoke about the participation in the international program of Rumi and the bilateral interest of the international program. The head of Duzce University also expressed the favorable opinion of Duzce University for mutual cooperation in the framework of the international program of Maulana and Erasmus with the University of Alzahra.

Memorandum of Understanding Scientific Cooperation between Alzahra University and Duzce University of Turkey was signed on April 19, 2017, during the visit of Professor Nigar Damikran from Alzahra University. Within a year and a half of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, several visits have been made by the professors of Alzahra University with the aim of participating in scientific events and presenting lectures at the University of Duzce. Also, Dr. Mahnaz Mollanazari, the head of the Alzahra University during her visit to Turkey last summer to attend the third meeting of heads of Islamic world universities, visited Duzce University and met with Professor Nigar Damikran.
