A memorandum of cooperation between Alzahra University and the University of Urmia was signed at the Alzahra University in Urmia Branch at 16:00 on Thursday, November 11, 2018. At the meeting of the Memorandum of Understanding, Dr. Mahnaz Mollanazari, Head of Alzahra University, Dr. Ali Rahmani, Financial Assistant, Dr. Mehdi Seif-Barghi, Deputy Head of Education and Higher Education, Hojatoleslam Dr. Ali Reza Khan Beigi, Head of the Supreme Leader's Office at the University, Dr. Shahla Bakhtiari student deputy, Parichehr Hanachi, head of International Acaddemic Collaboration at Alzahra University; Dr. Rahim Hob-Naghi, president of Urmia University, accompanied by Dr. Ali Mohammad Nikbakht, head of the International Relations Office of the University.

At the end of the Memorandum of Understanding, the cooperation between the two universities, with the emphasis on international co-operation, was signed by the two departments, then the Alzahra University was donated to Dr. Hob-Naghi by the university's president.
