Tehran hosted the Ministerial Conference of NAM on Monday February 23rd, 2015 while the ministers and delegations also visited an exhibition on the sidelines of the meeting. The aforementioned was staged with the presence of ten scientific and research centers and the purpose of demonstrating a small part of Iran’s scientific and technological capabilities.
Alzahra University also participated in the occasion, displayed pieces of artworks, conducted workshop, and welcomed the visitors by the collaboration of the office International Academic Affairs and the professors of the Arts Faculty including Dr Mohammad Zadeh alongside Ms. Rahmanpour, Mr. Khavian, Ms. Salehipour, and Ms. Rad and some of the students.
Iranian officials in the meeting, including the respected ministers of Education and Science, Research, and Technology also visited the booth. Furthermore, the Chancellor of Alzahra University, Dr Khazali, and Director of International Academic Collaeqborations, Dr. Marandi attended the occasion.
Iran’s capability in the fields of nanotechnology and biotechnology, aerospace, peaceful nuclear energy, stem cells, techno mart, medical equipment, energy, and training material and equipment was displayed in the Scientific and Technological Capabilities exhibition.
