Afghani Delegation Meets With Alzahra University Chancellor January 7th, 2016

A delegation from the Ministry of Technology and Telecommunication of Afghanistan met with the Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellors of the University on Thursday January7th, 2016. This delegation was invited to the university by the Engineering faculty member, Dr. Reza Azmi.  Dr. Hanachi, The Deputy to the Director of international Academic Collaboration’s Office and Dr. Rostampoor Maleki, the Director of Higher Education Office were also present.

The Chancellor welcomed the guests and introduced The University as the only comprehensive university in Iran, mentioned that: “The University is honored to educate expert women and to compensate for the educational problems of the women. The University campus can become a very safe and pleasant atmosphere for women and girls from Islamic countries and Alzahra University is ready to admit Afghani girls.”

In addition the head of the delegation and representative of the counselor of the Minister of Technology and Telecommunication asked for the University’s admission of Afghani girls in Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Computer Engineering (Software) and Information Technology (IT). He also asked for the more specific information of the maximum number of students to admit in each and every major.

It was concluded in this meeting that The University would inform the Afghan counterpart about the University’s capacity in each major and the admission fee.
