The First International Conference on Package, Handicrafts and Sustainable Developments was held in Tourani Hall on December 19th, 2015. This conference was held as the collaboration between Alzahra University and the Academic Association of Conceptual Arts, with Alzahra University hosting the event.
The opening ceremony was held early in the morning of Saturday December 19th, 2016. Dr. Ensiyeh Khazali, the Chancellor of the University; Dr. Namvar Motlaq, the Deputy of handicrafts to the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization of Islamic Republic of Iran; Dr. Bai Salami, member of Supreme Council of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism; Dr. Mansour Hesami, the Dean of the Art Faulty of Alzahra University; Dr. Simo Muto and Dr. Bukuaraki from the university of Kobe Design of Japan; and some of the professors from the Universities of Tehran, Science and Industry, Art, Tabriz and Tarbiat Moddares also participated in this conference.
