The 2nd International Higher Education Seminar in Iran was organized by the Center for Scientific Collaboration of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology with the participation of the Presidents and Deputy Directors of the Universities and Top Institutes of the Country within the framework of the project "Promoting Five Universities and Five Top Institutes to the International Level" was held On Thursday, December 16, 2018, at Sharif University of Technology.

Dr. Mahnaz Mollanazari, head of the Alzahra University, led the panel of "International Industrial Research and Industrial Cooperation" to discuss with other panel members the need to link research with industry in the internationalization of higher education. Also, Dr. Susan Marandi, a faculty member at Alzahra University and a scientific diplomacy advisor at the International Center for Scientific Collaboration of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, also spoke as a visiting speaker on "Internationalization of higher education in Iran with regard to sanctions". Dr. Hussein Raghfar, a faculty member at Alzahra University and chairman of the Sadr Institute of International Economics, participated in the seminar as a member of the Panel on "International Economic Prospects for Higher Education."
