In order to execute Memoranda of Understanding of Alzahra University with foreign universities, the faculty members experienced in studying or cooperating with overseas universities and scientific institutes are invited to a meeting that was held in the evening of Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at Dr. Susan Seif’s Conference Hall of Alzahra University.
In this meeting, participants state their backgrounds in cooperating with and having operational positions in foreign universities. Furthermore, the list of foreign MoUs has been distributed among participants based on geographical regions. Dr. Hanachi, the Director of International Academic Collaborations, besides appreciating the attended professors who have taken the responsibility of international scientific, emphasized the importance of clarification, arrangement, and benefiting from the available grounds of international cooperation that signed MoU with universities and Scientific Research Centers of overseas constitutes the main part of it. Meanwhile, she invites all colleagues to reflect upon ways of operationalizing and benefiting optimally from the existent MoU and announced Alzahra University’s preparedness for entering into contracts of executing existent MoUs and also signing new MoUs.
In the first meeting of executing MoU, Alzahra University initializes specialized committees to be constituted with regard to geographical regions and also cooperation grounds with the presence of colleagues associated with or interested in international scientific cooperation are supposed to be provided and important operational aspects be determined for cooperating with each university. Moreover, it is specified that in the following meetings, other colleagues active in the international scientific area also be invited for participation and collaboration.
In this meeting, a report also has been provided regarding the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) and the AIESEC by one of the experts of the IAC. Some parts of international student exchange of several important universities are conducted in the framework of the schedule of these two unions.
