Dr. Feras Sallan, Student Recruitment Manager of Middle-East, Turkey and Azerbaijan of Sydney University met with Dr. Hanachi, The Director of International Academic Collaborations on August 24th, 2016.
This meeting was held on a request from Sydney University in order to discuss possibilities of further collaborations between Alzahra University and Sydney University. A delegation from Sydney University will travel to Iran in October 2016 to initiate educational and research collaborations with Alzahra University, Sharif University and University of Tehran.
Sydney University is the oldest university in 14th ranking with 60,000 students.
Dr. Hanachi introduced Alzahra University and mentioned that the policy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and of Alzahra University is to enhance the quality of collaborations.
Dr. Sallan also emphasized on execution of the MoUs in exchanging students and professors and carrying out joint research programs and declared that this upcoming visit will benefit both parties. Dr. Hanachi proposed establishing Persian language courses in collaboration with the professors of Alzahra University. It was also decided that Iranian Faculty Members of Sydney University would collaborate more in this project.
