Seminar "Data Mining and Its Application in Industry, Business and Health System", delivered by Prof. Gholamreza Nakhaizadeh, professor at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, and former director of Daimler-Benz Data Mining Group; at the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Student Scientific Association of Engineering and International Academic Collaboration at Alzahra University, on april 24, 2019, was held at the Tourani Hall.

In this seminar, Dr. Gholamreza Nakhai, introduced the basic principles and principles of data mining, to explain the axes of this seminar, as follows:

·        Data and its tools

·        Examining real examples of data mining in the industry, business and health systems

·        The difference between artificial intelligence, data mining, data science, machine learning, deep learning and macro data mining

·        The best combination and form of a data mining team

In this seminar, Professor Nakheezadeh's valuable experiences in data mining at Benz Co. were presented and explained, and then the importance of the topic of data mining in forecasting and causing various issues was discussed. At the end of the seminar, the questionnaires were addressed to the audience.

This program faced the presence of professors at the Faculty of Engineering and welcomed over 220 students from Alzahra University and students from other universities from different disciplines.
