Dr. Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour, Head of the Department of Political and International Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Mahnaz Mollanazeri, President of the Alzahra University, on July 21st 2019, at Alzahra University. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mehdi Seif Barghi, Vice President of Education and Graduate Studies at the University, and Dr. Parichehr Hanachi, Director of International Academic Collaboration at the University. The Department of Political and International Studies at the MFA works with experts in the field of political and international studies to organize useful and practical meetings and lectures to promote international relations at home and abroad. Dr. Sajjadpour is a Doctor of Political Science and Professor of International Relations at the Department of International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Faculty of International Relations is a subsidiary of the Department of State, which is closely associated with the Department of State's Political and International Studies Center.
At this meeting, the President of Alzahra University introduced the University and its special opportunities and talents in the field of international cooperation. Referring to the number of international students at the university and working with international professors, he emphasized the internationalization policy of Alzahra University.
The head of the MFA's Studies Center pointed to the importance of training female managers in the field of international relations, citing the existence of the Women's Studies Institute and the Department of Women and Family Studies at Alzahra University. He added that the State Department archive collection is available to Azahra University's research professors and students for academic research. Emphasizing the impact of international academic collaborations in facilitating the country's international relations, he emphasized the importance of international educational and research collaborations in Iranian universities. The Department of State's Department of Studies has three publications in International Studies: Foreign Relations Politics and History, and Central Asia and the Caucasus.
